Audiosurf 2
So I got it
And just in case anyone is on the fence about whether or not this is a good buy, I'd have to say yes - keep in mind I'm a very casual player who likes the game more for the lovely eye candy and fun variety the mods add than for scores or leaderboards.

I will say that mono is harder now, for me, but also kind of boring, which is a bad combination. I liked ninja mono on AS1 because it was so engaging, but something about the new mono is just bleh.

Having said that though, the mono mods available are fantastic. I especially love twisted mono with my happier music. Granted, I suck at it - and I haven't gotten the twists down, and my score is probably patheic on all the songs I've played with it on, but I don't care, it's an awesome visualizer and it makes me feel good. :V

And the completely new modes are such a nice change of pace. Audiosprint and Audiosphere are really fresh and enjoyable when I want something different - which is often, I get bored easily and have a pathetic intention span. But even if that stuff gets boring I can just use a different skin and suddenly the whole experience is somehow changed. It's wonderful.

So, I bought it for the variety and that's what I got. Happy purchase.

But also, at least to me, it doesn't feel as broken as some people say it does - at least not in ways that would negatively effect casual players who just want a fun interactive visualizer or who just like shiny colors. (Like crows, I guess.) I think that the default modes are in need of tweaking but I haven't played all of them and the game is functioning pretty well for a beta. I'd say go for it, I took a leap of faith and ended up enjoying myself.

Or just wait for a bundle like most of the indie scene is probably doing :V

Also, quick side-note: Twised Mono + Rainbow headache skin + Katamari Damacy soundtrack = mind-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ drug trip of epic proportions.
