Minerva for Half-Life 2 -episode 2?

I have half life 2 episode 2 but steam dosn't allow me to install it,please help

You need Episode 1, not Episode 2. It's right there on the store page.

They used different versions of the "same" engine. And when they were released the SDK was updated to support each respective new version. And mods were built against each of these versions. When Minerva was released it was built against the Ep1 engine and so that's where it remains. I suppose it could be bumped up to support the current revision of the Source engine, but you'll need to talk to Adam Foster about that.

Well zombine are in the game along with some episode 1 textures so just be thankful you dont need episode 1 and 2

Well, if you have Episode 2 Installed, it uses the Flashlight HUD addon, so I'm not sure if that is there before you get HL2:2 or it gets placed there when you get Episode 2, but whatever it is, MINERVA uses some elements from Episode 2, even though most content comes from Episode 1. So from my perspective, it's best to have all 2 episodes, not to mention HL2 to get the best performance.
