F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions)
Heroes,

Some questions are answered more often than others, and they've spawned this thread to keep things easy!

Q: How many levels are in the game?
A: 13 in the base game, with DLCs adding to this number. Owners of a DLC are also able to invite their friends to play these levels with them, even if their friends do not own the DLC.

Q: What does the Collector's Edition contain?
A: Details on this are available at the Store Page here

Scroll down to "Collector's Edition" and hit "Read More".

In short:
- Soundtrack
- Behind the Scenes Pack
- Wallpapers
- 5 Unique Headpieces
- 2 Unique Trinkets

Q: Can I upgrade a base edition to a Collector's Edition?
A: Yes! An upgrade is available here:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/373540/

Q: Is there LAN support?
A: Starting a private game within a network will allow for LAN play, but all machines require a connection to Steam in order to play.

Q: What engine is the game running on?
A: Vermintide is powered by the Autodesk Stingray engine

Q: Is there an FOV slider?
A: Yes

Q: Can I turn off motion blur?
A: Yes

Q: Is there a third person mode?
A: No. Vermintide is designed from the ground up as a first-person game, putting you right up close and personal with the action. There is an inspection feature available to check out your Hero in third person however.

Q: Do I need to know anything about Warhammer to play Vermintide?
A: No. Whilst Warhammer fans may catch subtle references and recognize characters, no understanding of the world is required to play and enjoy Vermintide.

A known side effect is that you might find yourself starting to consume other warhammer products at an alarming rate after being exposed to vermintide. We are looking into this, but there unfortunately doesn't seem to be much that can be done at this juncture ;)
