Horrible frame rate with GTX 970
Just moved over from an HD7750 to a GTX 970, frame rate has tanked. Hard. Now sits around 15-20 frames at idle.
Anyone else encountered this issue?

My guess is it's a driver/software issue, 970 is a beast and this game isn't even that demanding

^this, and if not that, for reference, what're your other specs?

CPU i5-2500k (3.3GHz) 8GB RAM. Frame rate was fine before switching cards. I'll just wait on software updates :)

Make sure you're on the latest nvidia drivers, and maybe get a tool that wipes all previous remnants of your old AMD drivers. Is this the only game having problems?

Yeah I got the latest drivers through the Nvidia control panel, did a total driver wipe before I installed.
It is (so far) the only game having trouble. Everything else runs very well (ultra, 55fps+)

I was also having problems with the newest NVIDIA drivers and the Geforce Experience thingy. I rolled back to 337.88 drivers and the game runs 60 fps on my 4GB DDR2 RAM, GTX 650 Ti and E8400 overclocked to 3.66 GHz

Are you playing fullscreen with HDMI?

Full screen dual link DVI

Ah ok, I think the fix for HDMI was to turn off fullscreen mode and run it in windowed mode at maximum supported resolution... try that and see it if helps.

I'll give that a go, thanks

Happened to me when i upgraded from AMD to nvidia, verifying integrity cache fixed the problem.

well not upgraded, but switched.

Changing from full screen didn't help. Just verified local cache. Giving it a go.
