I wish I had checked this discussion board before I made my purchase. First I thought it was just me, but after having read the other threads here it is clear that there is a way, WAY too big risk that you won't even get this game to launch.

After you have installed it and start it, it loads for about half a second, and then there is nothing. It says you have played 1 second. If the first thing you do when buying a game, that has been out on the market for a while and also patched multiple times, is troubleshoot, then the product is quite frankly crap. My computer is a complete beast and all other games run like a dream, only this will not start.

This problem might be isolated to me and others on this forum (not really), but be aware that if you buy this product there is a high probability that you are throwing your money in the ocean.

It also seems that the latest patch completely broke the game for many users.

Why does no one bother to post their "gaming beast" specs. and assume everyone here is a mindreader and knows your specs?

Great butthurt, man. I don't have "gaming beast" computer, but this game run perfect since its release in January and for today. Sounds like you have your problem, and instead of trying to solve it, you just claim this game as a "garbage" and make this pointless post. Go ahead, then.

Its technically only been patched once. The first one was to remove the "always online" bug caused by the game not working when steam is set to offline.

NO, lots of people are having problems with no help in sight. This game runs like garbage (18-20fps) on my rig that can run Tomb Raider and heavily modded Skyrim with ease. I've tried dozens and dozens of fixes with ZERO improvement.

People are reporting the game suddenly running like junk after installing a different game on their Steam library, while others report the opposite (suddenly starting to work fine). Don't assume just because it works okay on your system that everyone else won't have issues,

I don't. Nowhere in my text do I state that nobody can run the game. I state that there seems to be an alarmingly big crowd that cant even START the game. Troubleshooting is fine. Tips n trix to work around bugs are fin. But when you cant even START the game??

yeah about 1 percent of them. You're always going to be vocal when you're having trouble with something. That's how people are.

The game runs fine over here and I have a crappy i3 and a gtx-650.
If the game refuses to start after you click "play", exit and open Steam again that might help.

I just became a "Stormbringer" not too long ago. Game ran flawlessly throughout my journey.

I don't understand why so much hate and this need of attacking another person...
It doesn't work on his computer, and he said it has a chance to not work on everybody system, and that's it.

I think it would be way more productive, if the people who had this issue, post the system which doesn't work.
And the people who plays this game without any problem post his rig as well.

So who's interested could check and compare with his own rig, and that's it.
No need for so much hate.
