Current situation on developement side?
I read 'sorry for lack of updates'. Sad, but good to know the game still has devs. However, the last update was still back last year in...october? I believe? The game is pretty new, overall. Wondering if devs are still working on it, like not bug fixed, patches, whatever. No, I mean like, accepting player suggestions and building the game. So it can last as long and be as fun as possible.

Last finished updated was long ago (don't even remember when). In September we had beta patch, that's never been fixed, refined, or released. There is no word from current devs, there is nothing. Complete and utter silence for sixth month.
Achievement unlocked "lazy [beep]" - do not update your game for 6 months. Here be Joker clapping gif.
Of course, there is "some" movement in different colours in names of different people, or some update to beta patch, but I'm not sure if that's sufficient for you to consider this project to be alive. After all, broken clock also shows correct time at least once in a day.

Sad, I consider any developer that does this a disgrace, I don't care what the situation, you don't leave your players in silence. If you've given up on the game tell them, accept the backlash, however, then that's it. Instead of telling them nothing so there's ridicule forever, when it could just once be then forgotten.

Being in bargain bins is barely a sign of bad game - HB sells Civ III through V now for example, I doubt anyone would name these games being bad.

No arguments over other subjects.
What surprises me is that beta patch released in September was fine, and could solve many problems. Yet nobody moved a finger to release it till October, when majority of team left. Kinda month, you know. Of course, if they literally sitting on suitcases, probably they had a little motivation, I don't know. And don't care.

Sad story, for a nice game.

I dont like that these days customers in the game industry are being treated like crap even tho we are the peoples financing all this.

As a statment i wont buy any games from this company again.

And this post was made so lots of other guys would do that aswell so bad PR / communication would have somekind of negative impact on the company.

Maybe they start to learn and listen when the money stops pooring in.

Thanks for youre time.

Well, welcome to our forums, Lilem! It's been what, five month without any solid comms? I hope you fare better than your predecessors.
In a meanwhile it would be nice to read story behind new PW:D team and have road map for future releases. Say September patch release date is 2014 February 23. New content - 2014 April 1.

Do you have any solid proofs to back you up? Or we have another Duke Nukem Forever case, I mean the (in)famous "when it's done"?

Um, ok? Well, welcome. It's better than the silence this game has been met with for so long, but I'll believe it when I see some actual content coming out. Hope what you say is true and I hope this game succeeds under your team :D

Sirrus,
Unfortunately, I don't have the information of how it went with the previous team, so I guess I'll have to catch up. But it's not a problem :)
As for any actual dates etc - I can't really tell anything about that for now, but I can assure you that I'll share any pieces of information I can :)

Not really, but they're funny :)

ryry117,
I understand your caution. I'll do my best to earn your trust :)

Lilem,

Welcome! Thank you for posting and introducing yourself. A lot of us really enjoy this game and would love to see the patch that's been in Beta for months go live soon. Any chance of that? Are there any other patches/DLCs/anything in development for this game currently?

Thanks!
Lilem Feb 10 @ 5:43am
Hey there, Kelson!
Thank you for warm welcome :)
Unfortunately, there's nothing new I can say just yet. I'll keep you updated though, so stay tuned!

I'm not that really interested about previous team, as I stroke them out of trusty suppliers list (so to speak), but I'm more interested about current team (to put you back into that list, because, you know, five months backlog; imagine that in any other industry). Tell us about you, your new team. Not necessary Robbie Williams' "Let me entertain you" style:), since you can't show us anything.

Geez man, you show up like jack-in-the-box, out of blue, welcoming us, yet you can't share anything solid... :D
Well, share anything! Maybe anecdotes? Little Johnny strikes back? Something? Please? :)

Well, this is good to hear. PW:D is one of my favorite games on Steam, so I'm glad to see it's actually getting some attention.
danielharmsen Feb 10 @ 11:23am
YAY, I'ma hopin that they at least fix the issues with achievements not unlocking, extra content is nice, but not a must in my eyes, comming from the xbox 360 community I generally have to pay for extra DLC. (quite a lot I may add, there are hardly any good deals on xbox live content).
Lilem Feb 11 @ 3:40am
Sirrus,
Well, ask and you'll get the answers :)
I can share an anecdote:
An elf, a human and a dwarf walk into the sun.. they die! Because it burns them alive. Haha :)

Moose, danielharmsen,
Hey guys! Thanks for the warm welcome :)
Yeah, there're some fixes coming our way, but I can't give any ETA because they're still being tested and updated.

Seek it out, and ye shall find.
Old, but I'm not that old,
Young, but I'm not that bold.
I don't think that world is sold,
I'm just doing what we're told.

:)
Any chances to see roadmap?

I like this one more:

Barack Obama was visiting a primary school and he visited one of the classes.
They were in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meanings. The teacher asked the president if he would like to lead the discussion on the word 'tragedy'. So our illustrious president asked the class for an example of a 'tragedy'.
One little boy stood up and offered: "If my best friend, who lives on a farm, is playing in the field and a tractor runs over him and kills him, that would be a tragedy.
""No,' said Obama, 'that would be an accident."
A little girl raised her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy.
""I'm afraid not,' explained Obama.'That's what we would call great loss."
The room went silent. No other children volunteered. Obama searched the room.
"Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?"
Finally, at the back of the room, Little Johnny raised his hand. In a quiet voice he said: "If the plane carrying you and your cabinet was struck by a 'friendly fire' missile and blown to smithereens, that would be a tragedy.
""Fantastic!' exclaimed Obama. 'That's right. And can you tell me why that would be tragedy?"
"Well,' says Johnny, 'It has to be a tragedy, because it sure as hell wouldn't be a great loss...and you can bet your ♥♥♥ it's probably not an accident either."
