Impressions and mini review of the game now that I completed it
(This is written to be as spoiler free as possible, sorry for the possible grammar errors too)

I loved the gameplay of this game, and especially in the beginning there were some fun bosses and fun areas, but sadly, the game started to feel a bit unfinished towards the end. Especially the last part of the game felt really rushed, as you could run through it in maybe under an hour (And I searched last of the items I missed, too!), compared to the fact I used something like 5-6 hours on previous parts. I think my final in-game time on easy was a bit under 7 hours and I collected most of the stuff I could, maybe about 92% completition.
It felt some upgrades broke later bosses if you know how to use them well, which is kinda sad, but I don't know if that was the point of them.

Graphics looked okay, maybe a bit too gray at times. The city at the beginning of the game looked impressive, but again, towards the end there were some generic corridors and caves, which is kinda sad.

But now, the soundtrack... I felt it was missing A LOT of potential. At least there was remix of the main theme from the original game, but there was no final boss OR credits themes, for example! Both of them re-use generic stage themes, and these themes were decent at best... This is where the game felt the worst for me. I'd wish they had a bit more kickass soundtrack here.

Overall, this game is pretty good. I wish they used some more time on it, as they could have made it much better (Some later areas feeling unfinished, some difficulty balancing off), but overall they did nice work.

I'd give the game something around 7/10. As of being 15€ game, it's an okay price if you complete it multiple times, and like to do another run-through finding everything. I haven't played Strider games before, but I've enjoyed metroidvania games, and this felt pretty nice restart of Strider. Give it a try!
