Crash at exit
This game is, unfortunately, unplayable. But wait, no, I can play it. Really I can.

I just can't stop playing. By which I mean if I've started playing and I've done anything beyond maybe changing options in the main menu, and then I try to exit the game to desktop or to the game's main menu it just crashes.

And it doesn't just crash. It crashes hard. Sound looping, screen freezing, inability to shrink dopwn the game to fix it in the background etc. All of the usual fixes (control, alt, delete; alt, F4; alt tab etc) do nothing.

Maybe if I'm really lucky the windows task manager will open in the background so that I can begin stopping programs and processes but because the game will not allow itself to be minimised I can't do anything beyond watch the mouse cursor change when it's passing over the apropriate portion of the screen.

Eventually the game might actually crash to desktop with an error message but most of the time the only way to make it stop is the manual reboot button on the front of my computer and that is never a good thing. That's one step away from blue screening.

So unfortunately I simply cannot risk playing this beautiful game. The first time I launched it, it decided to run at a larger rezolution than my screen was capable of handling. Once I realised this might be responsible for the crash I started the game up, changed the rezolution to something that would actually fit on my screen then closed the game down.

That is the only time I've ever been able to close the game down propperly. Safely. Now I can start it at a safe rezolution but it will still crash whenever I decide to stop playing anyway.

I believe this might actually be one of those rare cases where I'd consider contacting steam's customer service/support and asking for my money back as I simply cannot play this game in it's current form.

I tried to get my money back, on account of this game being in the state that it is. No luck at all. I didnt rage at STEAM, its not really their fault after all. Its this developer who is to blame. Oh and me for buying a game that I thought was playable (after 7 patches from release you would think it would be). But, take a moment will you to look at the manual. Its really good. And if you print it out on the right kind of paper, it will double for you in the bathroom. And that is the best use so far for this "game" ive come up with. Satisfaction with every wipe...

its got a few bugs with saving/loading/quiting that should have been fixed a long time ago, but werent. also, you can try getting your money back, but from what I can tell no one has got refunds yet. quite a few people getting shafted out of 20$, but id say about half of the people who buy it can see past the bad and get to the good.

Oh trust me, I find it an enjoyable game to play. Just wish it wouldn't crash my system every time I want to stop.

Use event viewer and see why it crashed I found it was an update to a video program that was playing silly buggers
