I would not buy this game in its current state and wait 6 months and see if they have fixed most of its major issues.

I really wonder if there's any way to petition Steam to remove a game. I'm not even sure who allowed this to get through in the first place, but they should be fired. I can't say that it's the worst thing I've ever played, but it is seriously the worst thing I've played in over 10 years.

That is a crazy low score for IGN. They just B-slapped Dreamatrix!! But it is also very true. Developers better hurry with those patches before more sites review the game and the metacritic scores start killing off future sales.

ive bought it - ive had long experience with RPGs and I think the reviwer has nailed the critical fails of this game. this is one sorry broken annoying game.

Woah, I like LoD despite its many flaws, but I really can't argue with the writer of the IGN article either. I feel like a masochist now by playing this game ;)

Sorry, but it's pretty accurate... score might be low, but everything that the reviewer singlers out is ABSOLUTELY true ATM...

It's entirely amateur hour, with glimpses of GOOD things which SADLY don't last.

This is sad. If they had kept it as alpha then no reviews could have been done. Whoever is responsible for marketing and such ought to be quietly dispatched to the farthest ends of the earth.

Lol 2.8. The reviewer is an idiot. Sounds same like some raging kids we had here. The game has problems, but it nowhere near 2.8 .

Where did I say that? I said he made a rage post about issues most of use that like to play the game don't care about. Some of the issues he mentioned are a true problem but they don't make the game worth 2.8. To me the game is better then most 9.0 AAA games on IGN (like Dragon Age 2.. or Diablo 3)

The game has some bugs and lacks some polish but got all features working. It is full of content and quests. 2.8 is not a score you give to games like these, unless you are one of the raging kids that expect AAA game polish out of indie developers.
I have not cared about reviews for a long time now, it is just an opinion of one guy/girl that gives it subjectively like everyone else.

That guy mentioned also faith bug, well i first thought the same, but i test game and catch is when you make your char dont put to many points in int, make int higher in game and voila, because when i make my first two chars i put all points in INT and then faith didnt go up to full scale, now with third char in am lv 10 and my faith is 160 and regen is normal and i still didnt put any point in devotion skill. For me game rating is 7, when new patches will be out, will be 9 and i am old player from end of year 1978-9 when i start playing electronic games, i played so many games that cant count it, even so bad games can be a challenge, because when you play games you must accept rules or how is game working. I remember first very simple game on each side of the screen was one line which was realy racket or stick and in middle ball or pack and we played and enjoyed, also about heating before i put new cooling paste on Gpu my highest T. was 99 C, now is around 76 and before i never checked or tested GPU T. but when i read that many players here complain i checked, but not only this game i checked also Skyrim, Dead Island and few others and was only few C lower 5-10 C, now is almost even, yes this game must be optimised because fps is lower than in other games and if they repair inventory il be happy, if not il be also happy because i learned my lesson when i loot items i take only what i need or want and all my items which i dont use it in that time i have in inn.

He wasnt expecting polish nor AAA, IGN has heard of indie games before. He's just making a point its just not fun and very broken. Polish and finished content, heck playable content is very differant

This is also your opinion wether you be a fanboi or white knight for the game, you cannot deny that this game has a massive amount of problems and issues and is either unplayable for some and near unplayable for a good majority of others. Its time to wake up and look at the facts for what they are not not spew that this game is better then what it is simply because you enjoy it. Its time to be objective about the game. The conversation was not started because I like or dislike the game, it was started because I was simply informing others who were debating on buying the game that its not worth the money at this current point in time. Period, End of Story.
