Legends of Dawn - Patch 1.10 is out!
After months of hard work we are happy to present to you the new patch 1.10 with our Dreamatrix Tools.
Despite some rumors we remain committed to our backers. Modding tools beta was an important stretch goal and a lot of unexpected work had to be done to make it happen. We hope that enthusiasts among you will experiment with tools and that knowledge base will start to grow within the community so that others less experienced users will be able to join the fun.

Patch 1.10 changes:
===================
- modding tools added (world editor, materials/models editor, entity editor, flare editor, GUI editor and creature designer)
- added Editor Quick Guide
- added panel for custom mods (visible from character generation screen)
- added Unpacker (used to unpack the contents of the game on your HDD - it must be run before the first launch of editor)
- NTG quest conversation fixed
- spider tutorial quest fixed
- added Alienware Light FX for Alienware laptops and keyboards
- fixed model popup when traversing back and forth between two adjacent world sectors
- fixed water transparency bug
- reduced memory consumption (slightly lower)
- grass rendering is additionally optimized
- slight tweaks and changes to monster AI
- added new 30+ nodes for skill checks (usable from script editor)
- fixed bug with character zooming buttons reappearing when returning to main menu
- various small optimizations and fixes

We will continue to work on game improvements.
Thank you for sending valuable feedback and log files via emails, thanks for sharing suggestions on forums and for making Legends of Dawn community a growing and resourceful place.

Steam Trading Cards, badges and icons will be also available soon.

Good!! Nice to see this game going nicely~
lovely :)
Thanks! :D:
Nice update! :)
Thanks, i'll be able to continue maybe with this NTG quest fix.
It still causes quite high GPU temperatures (especially in the starting village), though it has been reduced a bit.
It'd be nice to have this fully fixed already. I don't like playing a game with the GPU reaching 90C.
A game don't cause high GPU temperatures. But it can turn the GPU activity up to 100%. So if the temp is too high maybe you should remove the dust. My old 4870 was going up to 98°C. I've cleaned everything and temps never went above 71°C at 100% activity.

Maybe the default fan speed is too low / don't work well in auto mode, etc.

Thank you ! but i only had a dowload of a very small patch (759 Kb) , the fourth since yesterday evening and except the first patch 11 MB, the rest of them were very small ... i wonder if it's normal ? oO :)

EDIT: Well i re-downloaded all the game... it's OK now! :) For those who are looking for the editor, you have to go to the install file of LoD and read the PDF file concerning the editor FOR STEAM (have launch a program .bat)..

Question to dev: can we modifify the file of the game itself (translate in other language, modify some map) or it is only to mod new maps ?

I have the fans working full speed.
I've done some "Spring cleaning" in the box but it didn't help either.

There were others on the Steam and official forums that reported the same issues.
Good to hear!

I only recieved minor downloads/updates, is that normal or do I have to re-install the game?:tlove:
Spring cleaning might not be enough, you might need to clean the GPU cooler specifically. I had to open my HD 5850 completely to get to the inner parts that had huge clumps of dust. I also applied some better paste between the GPU and the cooler unit and the temperature droped from 90+ to 70+

HI , i had the same thing, so i decided to erase the game and download it again, cause i never saw the 240 MB dowload... but the version was 1.10 even with the little patches..don't know why... So i advice you to download the game one more time (4,1GB) if you can. :)

Insurgent, you have no need to reinstall game. Steam client will upgrade everything.
