I'm not sure what to expect, should I buy it?
I haven't really read into this game, but maybe that's better if I'm going to play it. Should I buy it and play it or should I read up on it first?

You should know that it's not really a game, I'd call it a book that's light on character development, good voice acting and sound effects, and has some backgrounds to get a feel of what's going on. It's somewhere in between a book and a visual novel. To me the story was pretty generic with decent suspense. I was not at all satisfied with the ending, although I haven't seen anyone else with the same feelings so, it may just be me. Also check out groupees for a bundle including this game a bunch of others for 5 dollars.

Thanks for the tip on Groupees and it's actually just $1 if all you want is this game.

is there any interacivity in this book, like 'click the stairs to get further', or is it just 'click > next page'?

well, there is interactivity, but limited to certain areas. For example, you have options like "Click to proceed to the 5th floor"... drawing shapes to open doors or pour drinks (the game will guide you) and clicking on certain interactive elements like maps, letters and newspapers. I've only gotten to chapter 3 so I cant say much... but thats all for now. I like this game ♥♥♥ book thingy!
