[Spoilers] WTF?! Am I missing something or is this story just lazy?
I don't understand how the antagonists can just go around pretending to be other people and have no one recoginze them. I mean it was one (big) thing to have them infiltrate a meeting of 6 people and not be noticed. Then at the end, the main character takes so long to realize who he is talking to. Fairly disappointed

I could believe that was true if it was explained how they managed to do it besides, "they were distracted by other things" No mention of how they changed or what techniques they used, therefore, lazy. But I suppose most other people were content with that explanation, not me.

It's a fairly common trope, particularly in books but also plays, musicals and movies. As an example, in The Marriage of Figaro a wife has only to put on a veil and she becomes totally unrecognisable. Likewise in Die Fledermaus. (Strange - I can only think of operas off-hand).

This game is, by the way, based on a very well-known book (there have been several bad movies made of it as well).
