Complete black screen?

I get a blackscreen on running Anodyne.

Amd 4100
GTX 550 Ti
16 GB Ram

I got this in that Humble Bundle played a little in my PC and it was running well. Unfortunately, in my notebook(runs emulators with better graphics), I just have a black screen

Nope, never, sorry. It just fixed itself as far as I can remember.

I had this issue today, and it seems that for some reason the "please resize screen using arrows then press C" screen is not shown on each startup. Out of maybe 50 tests, I had it ONCE.

So for those of you who have a black screen on startup (at least on Linux, dunno about Windows/Mac), just press C and see it that solves the problem.

If this is Windows let me know. If Mac this should be fixed. If Linux has issues the game does have a standalone .swf file you can use with Adobe Flash Player, though achievements will not work.

It was on Linux. I know there is a SWF, but anyway pressing 'c' at startup was enough to bypass the blackscreen, the rest of the game is fine.

Im on windows 10. Aways get black screen, never anything else. am i missing something?

I was experiencing this issue and installing Visual C++ 2010 (x86) fixed it for me
(low-end laptop running Win10x64)
