~Controller Issues~

This game only has partial controller support. Notably, D-Pads do not work at the moment. I am looking into solutions.

Common Non-bugs

1. Getting stuck in a dungeon. Just use Menu -> Map -> Return to entrance
2. Game looking "glitchy" when you end up out of bounds

Known Bugs:

1. A lighting glitch the post-game (you will know it when you see it)
3. Fight against "The Wall" occasionally bugs out and gets stuck in an animation
4. Drowning in some water and getting stuck in a wall
5. something weird with talking and being on ladders
6. Jumping onto stairs can clip you into the border

Can I post bugs here? I'm assuming so, since it's an unlocked thread.

- The enemies with sickles can sometimes self-destruct for no reason. Maybe they’re killing themselves with their own sickle.
- Lions have an annoying tendency to leap off the top of the screen. Happens frequently in the final fiery area.
- If you jump into the air and a timed cutscene begins before you land, once the cutscene ends you can walk around in the air. Happens after the final boss fight.
-Audio only coming out of one side of 7.1 surround sound :(

yes, i have this too with my Logitech G35, it also manifests with sound distortion in low frequencies. I guess its because the game is running on Adobe Flash? Or uses something similar for sound as Flash does? Can devs confirm this please? Because the same thing is disscused on Logitech forum regarding youtube videos. Its Flash problem, and Adobe doesnt care! :// It started to happen this summer cause of the new version of Flash, so far the only solution is to downgrade to version before summer, but that doesn't affect the game, which has its own recent version I guess.

The joystick configuraion is mapping the 'open menu' button and the 'jump' button to the same button. The menu popping up every time I try to jump is making things difficult.

That is weird, I would try re-mapping it again...?
Is this a bug? I got the speedrun achievement today, but it unlocked as soon as I picked up the Swap. I didn't even have to go through the final areas or fight the final boss. The achievement says "Beat the game and get 100% in less than 3 hours," And I certainly got 100% in less than 3 hours, so I guess you don't have to beat the game on the same play-through?
I guess I'll ask here, doesn't anyone have a problem saving from the menu or the option at the end of the game? It just gets stuck. The music is still there and souns fine, but it stops responding.
Not a bug but a feature request for the next patch of Anodyne (btw: great game, thank you!): Would it be possible to press "Enter" to confirm options in the save screen of the menu? I always need a second try to realize again it is only possible to confirm with the "C" button.

Pre-zombie, I can safely say that your sensitivity problem might be in your initial set-up. Make sure when you press the stick you only see one of the Axes numbers change. If you're getting more than one when you move it, then you'll get really glitchy movement.
I'm trying to do an Anodyne 3-hour run. I have beaten the Wall 3 times and every time I do, the freezing bug comes up. I can't beat the game again as a result.

Same here. Please fix. Alternatively allow selection of gamepad from system list so GloviePie can be used for custom xbox mappings without messing with other games.

New bug I just encountered:
Tried opening it up, and was faced with the controller set up. Moused over to yes, defaulted to no.

I'm on a Mac, so I hit Apple + Q to quit the game quickly in order to open it again and select yes again. Game will not launch. Re- downloaded twice, and even verified files, and deleted the "app manifest" for the game, seeing if that caused an issue. Still won't launch

I'm not sure. If all else fails (delete it all, restart computer, redownload?) then I can send you the plain swf, which is better than nothing.
