Game keeps crashing
so whe i go to play the game crashes if someone would help me fix the issue

Go to where Tropico 3 is stored (Program Files>Steam>steamapps>common>Tropico3) Right click on the tropico3.exe and click properties. Then click the "Compatibility" Tab. Check the boxes labeled "Disable Visual Themes" and "Disable desktop composition" click "Apply" and it should work now.

It is crashing for me as well. Weird because it was working just fine for like 2 hours. Then it crashed on the second map and has been crashing when I try to load each time... gonna try and start a new game...

im having this problem too when i click new game then on the load screen it loads one full rotation then crashes ive tried the above .also im on a laptop and this game hs been working for about a month

i found what was wrong .i had to delete the tropico folder from %appdata%

Deleting the tropico folder in appdata worked for me too! Too bad you need shader 3 for this game, and I didn't see that listed in the humble bundle specs .... Grmbl. No tropico 3 for me :(
