windows 8.1 problem

after upgrading from windows 8 to 8.1 game crashes on start. tried the method with changing to windowed mode, but it didn't work for me. does anyone have same problem?

I checked checked mine and starts up and got into the tutorial no problem with Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit, when I upgraded to Win 8 I did have problems with my steam games until I switched from IDE to AHCI in my computers BIOS.

You need to reinstall your gpu drivers, read more about it here:

thanks to all who helped but problen has been solved unexpectedly for me. I didn't noticed that after upgrade my video setting changed to integrated videocart, so I just switched back to descrete card and all worked fine!
