I hired a rigger with two drones but they don't appear

I hired a rigger with two drones on the main campaing, for the Renkaku lab mission, however when the rigger starts the mission there is no drones following him, and it's says they have been destroyed, out of commission. This bug happened to me too with my own drones on UGC's and u can fixing by stashing ur drone and re-equiping it...however with a hired rigger I can't do that....Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way around it?

Brand new game feature, never seen that with Mercs...

Happened once on the PC version, it worked fine when I replayed it. But it happened too on the android version on my Samsung Galaxy S3
