mod tools
how are the mod tools for this game? i would love to create some custom scenarios and stories for this game. however, i'd love to know how the tools perform. are they generally clear? are they cumbersome? any info is welcome.

thanks in advance!

The Editor is not very handy. 3 weeks ago i really thought i will never be able to build something or to run actions. Then, after learning how to do basic things with the tutorial plus watching some YouTube walkthroughs, i must admit that i am now able to create vast areas and to add more and more action to my module.

My advice : start by creating a Test module of your own in which you learn to make basic things step by step, then report them to your main UGC...

Each time you do something, test it to see what happens. Sometimes it takes one hour to understand what you did wrong :)

I'd say the editor is generally intuitive and robust and could use the most improvement with debugging-- making it more friendly with variable tracking and action history. It's in there (the debug tools) but it could save a lot of people a lot of troubleshooting time to make history more easily trackable. It's a great editor all-around, I am still finding stuff I didn't know was there.

The Editor is like a Troll Sammy. Ugly but really powerful, once you learn how to use it.
