Add a walk button please
Yeaaaah I get it, it doesn't matter.

Well I want one.

Since walking is in game, a shift click for slow, or a shift click for fast would be nice. If only for immersion.

Or just having two different movement speeds since running inside your own room looks retarded when its from your phone to your desk.

+1, I agree. Running in most cases makes little sense and looks a bit daft. All and all though, Shadowrun Returns is a great game!

I'm fine with a walk button as long as they also allow you to toggle on that extra fast run that occurs when you click a long way from your PC. Quite frankly I'd have it on all the time. For me the fun is the next piece of dialogue or the next encounter. I can live with my PC pretending to be Usain Bolt :o)

+Another....make the action abit like "Fallout: Tactics Brotherhood of Steel". Walk is set to default, and with a double click, watch the magic happen! Second that, great game!

I would also like to walk without having to click 30 times near my toon.

Ok so I learned how to make the player walk, (among other speeds), in the editor. I had been considering doing such a thing for a mod, so I figured it out. It can be done! Here's a video of me in game, messing with the speeds, (if I linked this right).

Let me know if you want to more specific info on how it works.

-1 walk. Hey I prefer other features Writers are able to make the character walk and if you click in short range they appear to walk versus long range when they run.

+1 for walk / run

+10 to be able to sit and to make Npc sit...or lie down in beds

I like the idea of player adjustable speed. Walk or sprint whenever you feel. Or in certain areas, walking might be good for cinematic or gameplay reasons.
Hmm, I wonder if you could place an actor over a bed, then give them a death animation, to get the effective look of sleeping in a bed. Odd way of considering it. :)

I could go for more immersive emotes as well.

Completely noob question, but do you know if there's a way to map that functionality to a keyboard shortcut? So if you press B that triggers a command to switch actor speed to "run" and if you hit it again it sets it to "walk".

I've been searching for a while but I can't find much information on this, so I'm guessing the answer is "no". But it never hurts to ask :)

As far as I know, there's no way to key bind it. I can't think of a way to do it. I think it's always set to that quasi run/sprint mode.
