I wanted to test but, strangely, all UGC i subscribe to tonight won't add to my list

Isn't Shadowruns Unlimited a work in progress? I don't think you're missing anything, it's just not done.

I would consider most if not all UGC in alpha state at this point until people get a hang of the very unfriednly editor.

Unlimited is currently very grindy. But it is an excellent beginning framework for what could be something incredible.

The main plot advances after you make some progress doing grindy runs. I'm not sure if it uses a run counter or a karma check, but Gunderson eventually sends you to someone else.

Ok so i just keep doing runs for that one guy in the Barrens?I have done like 10 lol.Its a really good game,it just needs more things to do!

keep doing the runs until he has a special run for you, after that special run I think you have to wait for new content

Problem is that my girlie died on her second run (1st one at the docks was mega easy, second at the cinema was mega deadly...)
Waking up in Doc's lab, then game over.
No save so far. Only 250 bucks so no way to rent an new appartemnt if it helps saving game...
To hell & back again ?

Anyway i appreciated the way things are done compared to DMS : yes you have more freedom and the world seems to be more opened.

1. I dunno how it is for the modders to implement save points, but here it may lack some (ie each time you enter the saloon with the 1st patron guy)

2. Modders should consider that Jake lets you choose a weapon when starting DMS to provide early death because of unappropriate firepower vs ennemies...and that you may find 1 or 2 medikits before action begins, just in case you are very unlucky or...unskillfull

Nota : tried on Very Hard, my game was using this settings, so...

This UGC is a work in progress. So far, I'm doing Matrix runs for Frosty and netting a cool 400 nuyen per run. It helps being an Elf and having a high charisma = more money.

WELL im a true fan of the original sega version, where you start off at a seedy motel and once you leave the doors, the world is your playground.I miss the random bar brawls.Rememoer those LMAO!And remeber those random events walk walking the streets that let you choose what you wanted to do or say??thats what i paid $20 bucks for :(But if you guys say they may make updates in the future...then im excited :)

Since when are Elves interested in money ? :p

It seems i missed a good game, but allways have been a PC user...

But seeing the work done on this module just at the start gives more info on the game possibilities.

Save points would have been a relieve. Also a bloody map and a journal that tracked our runs would have been nice lol

Spoiler needed : where to find the first save point ? lol

I'd like to restart this mod, but don't want to lose another creation + time played

The game saves when you transition scenes. It's a checkpoint system basically. So when you leave the bar or enter the bar or go downtown etc it saves.

You can rewind your save game to any autosave that character has gotten, ie: right after character creation from the load game screen, and the low level runs assume you have the standard gun / spells you start with. Some combat heavy runs are hard for non-combat focused characters, but if they weren't, where would the fun be in playing a samurai or adept?
