Game is too hard
I got the mission to rescue Gino from the BTL den -- and failed it. Three times. This game is too hard. I need cheats or something.

Before you all say it -- yes, I suck. Deal with it.

It might be helpful to know something about your character build and strategy.

implying that you've been playing videogames for a long time, hence most videogames wouldn't be that hard for you. comon. Why don't you just call him a butthurt, entitled 13 year old, at least then you'd actually be upfront with your insults.

Morrison for that fight its key to take out the decker in the far back of the room who is controlling all the chip heads to attack you. Bum rush him with all your team and once he's dead click on the terminal and unplug the chipheads. That takes care of half the threat in the room. Its a breeze after that. Next kill the shaman. that will elliminate the shaman and his summoned mob. Then kill the rest of the mobs that are trying to kill you. Hope this helps chummer.

Turn down the difficulty in options.

Spend more points in quickness and ranged combat.

As far i can say punch everypne in the jaw until u reach the main area...if your main can use rifle well u can take cover and snipe the decker to death, send your team to the left taking cover and taking out enemies near u,go until u can disable the computer after the decker dies...ignore the chipheads, they dont do that much of fact they choose to punch and run...dont be afraid to sometimes u hit by accident a actually help because some mages and summons heals the addicted wasting they ap

Okay, first of all, I'll be 45 in September.

A little information about me: I get frustrated very very easily, and when I do I tend towards violence. Yes, I have anger management issues. No, therapy does not help (I took it for four years; it did not help one iota.) So when the game is too hard, I get upset.

The game I was having problems with was my first, using a standard combat mage build. I didn't understand a couple of things about the game: It's better to make your own shadowrunner (why does the combat mage require a 3 Strength? That's karma better spent elsewhere) and it's better to focus on one style of combat (putting points into Ranged Combat and Shotguns was somewhat of a waste, when I cast spells).

Also, I have found debug mode.

During that combat my big sin was always in getting distracted from the decker in the back, by the adds that come out later. I'll have to try it the suggested way above.

Lets talk about ME some more guys.

This wont help you that much as a mage, but that mission gets very easy if you're a decker. You can rush the nearby terminal and beat up the opposing decker in Cyberspace, which stuns all the chipheads. After which you can free them all and they'll run off.

Its the only time you really get a showdown with another Decker in the matrix. There should have been more of that.

Another tip: both Coyote and Paco have grenades, use them.

On what dificulty level are you playing???

Seriously. This game is super easy. I only ever buy one shadowrunner when given a bunch of cash.

I'll give you a tip on how to make the game easy mode. Play a troll, max a good amount of body, and then a good amount of quickness and shooting. If you want to get a specific weapon I think either the submachinegun or the pistol are the best. Rifle I think is better if you completely max your aiming, shotgunning might be the best low point investment... but smg is probably the best mid range thing with pistol out doing it for slightly more investment.

Get all dat, maybe a robo eye, maybe the +body cybernetic and then have a blast, if you get into magic at all, do the summoning one + the bonus to aim for more meat shielding. By then the game aughta be over.

Shame they couldn't spend the time to tune the combat. Still always next dlc to tune it.
