Into the Matrix, No Abilities

So, Im at the part of the game where I enter the Matrix to go search for someone's DNA. I picked up the Decking skill, bought myself a deck, and some software.

When I get into the Matrix, though, I have no abilities available to me, despite having loaded them all into my inventory from the stash at the jack-in screen. My companion has his full loadout, but mine seem to have disappeared.

Has anyone else gotten this far, and found something similar?

Make sure you have them on your character when you jack-in.
I made the mistake of not loading them properly the first time, pretty sure you're just missing a click.

Well, I click the + beside the entry in the stash, and they all move over to my inventory portion of the Jack In screen, and each program states that it is Equipped.

Is there another step besides that?

I have the same problem. I logged out and back in multiple times to be sure. I equip all the programs I purchased, I have the needed skill for all of them but when I login none of my programs or the ESP I put in the items part are listed.

There's a "confirm" button at the bottom left of the screen, underneath your stash.

Did you start as a decker, or buy a datajack later?

I have the same problem.I didn't start out as a decker, I bought a datajack once in the game, and I had 18 free karma points and dumped them into decking right before the mission to find the DNA match. I'm certain I've loaded the programs and selected confirm and all that, but I have no abilities in the Matrix. I've tried reloading the game from teh start of the mission multiple times and still ahve the same issue.

It feels like a bug.

Its definitely a bug. I proceeded to complete that mission, and the next time I jacked in, later on in the game, I finally received my abilities.

That reminds me, is there a place where we can submit bug reports?

Got a bug here too. i play a decker. I buy a new deck en better software before the johnny clean run but i doesn't show in my stash. The old deck and the old programs, which i had just sold do.

Having same bug myself. Started out as a custom class, didn't buy the decking-stuff untill the first Matrix-mission.

On top of this I noticed that when checking out my stats inside The Matrix it shows me as having Int 1, Decking 0 and Esp Control 0, but when I jack out my stats are shown correctly again as having Int 3, Decking 3 and Esp Control 3. Weird (and annoying) bug...

*UPDATE* Luckily I ended up, just like Kabal, being able to use all my abilities next time I had a chance to do it too. Still a weird bug, but at least it's not a downright game breaker :)

It seems that HBS really rushed the implementation of decking in this game...

In the same manner as PatDay outlines above (my character being an Orc Rigger), I've also got this bug. Reported it to HBS yesterday, going to get to this point with my Decker and see what happens, in the meantime.

I'm having decking problems in the Telestrian Industries megacorp run. I get past all the guards, jack in to the matrix to activate the elevator, but the IC programs in the matrix kill me all too quickly. I have very basic decking abilities and I suspect when hiring shadowrunners I was supposed to pick Dodger, but I didn't and now I can't progress any further. Autosave means I'm now stuck with my Shadowrunner choices! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
