Shadowrun Returns

Shadowlab #1: The Price of Conviction!
Hello everybody!

Its that time again, now that Let's Play #3 is live, I would like to ask you what the next Let's Play should be.

We'd also like to get some feedback on a new idea we have.

In addition to doing a traditional Let's Play where Mitch and Jordan would play through the UGC, we're considering a review/critique opportunity where they would play a scene or a level and then give feedback on what they would do to improve the story, design, fun level etc. much like they would for one of our designers. Since not everyone may appreciate that, we would require that GMs nominate their own work for this video. Before we go down this road, though, we'd like to get some feedback on whether you all think this is a good idea. Let us know.

~~~~~~~~~~EDIT~~~~~~~~~~
The next video from Harbrained Schemes will be a Critique video of The Price of Conviction: Coyote's Crusade! Congradulations Avenzi!
Make sure to check it out here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=178906135
~~~~~~~~~~EDIT~~~~~~~~~~

The video is now live on YouTube!

I would personally love to have a professional review/critique of Shadowrun Unlimited!

As far as the new style, I think players would appreciate the review side of it, while all developers might be able to benefit from whatever advice is given to the UGC developer.
I have to agree with Southwind, think a review kind of feel with feedback would be great. Shadowrun Unlimited is a great candidate also.
I think after playing the content hbs created - they are in no position to judge anyones work. Start with your own.
It's difficult to choose an adventure for a play through right now, maybe in a few weeks or so and the authors have had time to fix the bugs caused by the 1.1 patch would be a better time for it.

Did I miss the warning that the patch may cause many features already in use to simply stop working?

+1
I would like to ask anyone having issues with their UGC after the 1.1 update to create a new thread explaining their issue, and we will do the best that we can to help resolve these issues as they come up.
There are more than a few threads already running in the support section.

Thanks for the interest Jeffrey, maybe you could swing over there and lend a hand.

My issue is that I can't get rifle skills when I skill up. Its been bugged since day one and never addressed. I haven't played this game for months because I'm waiting for you to fix some really basic stuff, like some of the weapons giving you skills beyond those you start with. Can you please just fix the basic game before anything else?
This is a great idea, guys! I took some time away from SRR and love the improvements. Glad to see the community is still growing as well. Critical review would help take UGC to the 'next level.'

This is my hope as well. Normally, I avoid UGC, as I prefer to play my games "Vanilla". However, playing Shadowrun Unlimited has caused me to explore some of the other UGC's that everyone has universally praised.

Looking forward to seeing what Dragonfall brings to the table.
