Is there any way to get a refund on this?

Bought this game back in late august, maybe early september and I haven't been able to play it once. Some sort of "Access Violation" crap. I sent in the bug notes to the devs a day or two after it happened and they said they were working on it.

It's been a month and a half. Not another word on the subject has come up. I don't care about this anymore.

Does anyone know if I can get my money back so I can buy a game that works?

I think you can refund one steam game without to much trouble, just ask the support. The fact that you should have about 0 playtime will be enough evidence. Maybe screenshot the emails with the devs and attach them to your ticket as further proof.

Have you granted full permissions to the game's executable?

This game is awesome, sucks that you are having issues. I agree with what anexsia said, double check that.

It may be a Steam issue rather than a Shadowrun Returns issue. Have you checked with Steam Support? Maybe there was an issue with your payment? Does the error come from Steam or from Windows?
