Linux & VSync
Is there a way to enable vsync for this game on linux? This is what the game looks like for me just when moving the camera:

I'm running on Linux Mint 16 MATE x86_64, using an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460.

i have the same card and am running Mint 14 x86_64, but I dont have any shearing problems. Theres a sync to vblank tickbox under the OpenGl tab in nvidia-settings. Is that ticked ?

Yes, I had the sync to vblank option ticked. It turns out it was caused by my window manager. I switched to compiz a while back, and my settings for that were causing it. I switched back to marco with composition turned off, and the screen tearing went away completely.

Don't know if you're still looking for a solution, but I fixed this using compton. I'm running Arch, but I'm assuming Mint has compton in the repos. Install it, and run it with:

compton --backend glx --paint-on-overlay --vsync opengl-swc

Fixed all tearing for me.
