Beneath the Kreuzbasar -- help
I'm stuck on this mission. Any tips? *Spoilers Ahead* My team cannot get around to all three bomb sites before time runs out. Sure, part of it is that I am getting some bad rolls (How Eiger can stand two feet away and still consistently miss her target with a shotgun is beyond me), but even when I split the team and try to tackle two sites at once, I cannot kill the enemies fast enough to get to the third site before the bomb goes off. Thanks in advance for your help.

Spiderman can dodge a shotgun at point blank range, and so too can a cyberpunk Strider-esque ninja. Just saying.

You have Eiger, Glory, Dietrich and Dante with you on this mission. First use Dante's leader of the pack (or whatever it's called) ability to boost everyone's movement allowance by 2. If you're carrying any AP boosting drugs like Cram or Jazz, now would also be a good time to use them. Also activate cyberware like Glory's adrenal booster or your own, if you have one implanted.

Split into 2 teams, you, Glory and Dante take the northern route, send Dietrich and Eiger towards the other bomb to the right. Use Dietrich to Haste and buff Eiger's aim so she can use her sniper rifle at long range as soon as she spots the enemies near the bomb. If they charge her obviously switch to the shotgun. Dietich is pretty useless in combat, you mainly want to run him towards the bomb to disarm it and then let him cast spells at close range to help mop up.

Meanwhile you, Glory and Dante race to the north and engage the enemy there. I still maintain Glory's best with her hand razors, others will disagree and prefer to use her pistol. Dante has some nice spell attacks, you should be able to hit the enemy with an AOE attack at least. You should be able to clear out the enemy and disarm that bomb and be on your way towards the 3rd at about the same time as Dietrich and Eiger are finishing up so race everyone towards the final group. You don't have to kill them before disarming the bomb, you can run someone up there to do it while the firefight is still underway. After the bomb is disarmed you can finish mopping up the enemy at your leisure.

Yeah-- I broke my team in half and stomped right through. Take cover, use your abilities/specials, and all that. One thing that helps a lot is falling back through an available chokepoint and then setting up behind cover with overwatch. Stay as far apart as possible at all times as well. I keep Glory at the back and just have her take potshots in between healing my other runners. Dietrich for buffs and healing as well, with an AOE attack every time it's done cooling down. Eiger is nearly always my 'point' and takes the frontmost cover, while my combat decker (assault rifles) is falling back to next cover, flanking, or decking (when applicable). Pretty basic strategy but it seems to work pretty well.

Speed buffs absolutely help in this mission. Glory's booster plus haste spell gives her at this point I think 5 actions per turn. If you've gotten the AP booster reward and installed it (body mod, free) then with a haste spell you can have 5 AP as well. These will definitely help you on the mission.

My tactic was to send Glory to the second bomb while the rest of the team is going for the first one. I also did haste on my character. While Glory is moving and going to the second and third bomb, the rest of the team had time to kill the first merc and deactivate the first bomb. By the time Glory was on her way to the third bomb, the rest of the team was going the merc of the second bomb, etc.

Maybe it was because I played it on normal but I did them almost sequentially. As soon as I could see a situation was diffused and one or two team mates could reach the bomb, the rest would then already start moving towards the next target. I obviously took every extra AP I could (Haste, Glory's tech etc). Ended up even in this slow mode with 3 rounds to go when I reached the final bomb - just to be safe I charged Glory in with 4 APs diffused the bomb and hid her behind the goons to split their attention...Then the rest of the party arrived and made short work of the baddies. (I was sad that the locked doors did not open in that final room - I was hoping for some freiandly' to show up and help - not gonna sya any more not to spoil it)

I split them up, going after each one, eventually bringing everyone together to mop up in the back room. Pain in the ass, cause we got fubar'd a lot.

My character was a decker/rigger which turned out to be very slow and almost useless in combat (first character, didnt realise that 2 drones + deck would = no weapon until i sunk the points into it.) I didnt split the team up, didnt use combat drugs, didnt even realise there was a turn timer until i defused the first bomb. Everyone took the same route together, first bomb then the lower bomb then up and around on the last bomb. Got it on my first try, on hard.

Tip: you do not need to kill the enemies around it to disarm the bomb.
Chigen Atomic Apr 14, 2014 @ 8:07am
that's how I do it. divide up and send different people to each one, kill the people surrounding it after its defused, and normally go to the main water control in the back and eliminate the leftovers.

You can also use your sniper to pick off enemies through the door of the third room from the other side of the water. I sent her with Dietrich for the western bomb. Myself (unarmed troll) the dog and Glory for the other two.
Chigen Atomic Apr 17, 2014 @ 8:24am
I would have never thought of that, I just put her in the room with everyone else.

I had Dietrich cast Haste on Glory and she used she her adrenaline pump giving her 5 AP. I then basically ran her to each bomb ignoring the guards arouind the bomb. I would plan her movements so that her final movment positon would place her into cover or out of the line of sight of enemies. I notice that she pulled all the hostiles onto her so I took the remaining group members and parked them to the center of the map and created a kill zone.
I'm having trouble here too, and the problem isn't the timer. Coincidentally, I was doing it just like the second post suggested, and I can shut the bombs off just fine. The problem is I can't figure out how to-- or if it's possible to-- change my items. It seems like I'm stuck with what my guys had at the end of their last mission, which means just one BuMoNA. Twice now I've made it to the end and killed all the enemies, but one-- just ONE guy is down by the time I've done that, and having already used one pack, all I could do was end the turns until he died and I lost the mission.

So is there any freaking way to set someone else up with a BuMoNA before I go into the sewers, or am I just going to have to play this over and over until I manage to get by with just the one somehow?
