Would love to have a save function in the game
Because for ♥♥♥♥s sake i don't want to restart the entire game just to clear one thing i did wrong.
Makes it really annoyng playing trough the same levels over and over again and becoming more frustruated at the game.

They already fixed this. Please install the beta, for all intents and purposes the beta is complete and is better than the vanilla. They just say it's "beta" as a disclaimer.

Agree, the beta is fine now. (See the top sticky thread for details)

In the Library, right click on Shadowrun returns, "Properties". You can opt in there.

For those not wanting to risk a beta build (regardless of how stable everyone says it is), the final release is due about the same time as Dragonfall's launch in about a week or less (always get a bit hazy with release dates since those are always based on US timezones and I'm in Australia).

Even wth the old save system you never needed to do this. You could 'rewind' the game to any of the save points during the entire story to the map you wanted to do something different on. It was honestly the only good part of the system.

tbh, i didnt miss the save function at all because you didnt have to restart the whole game and in pretty much every other rpg people cheat like hell using savegames, which isnt exactly the point of the game. if i really screwed up badly, i was able to reroll the chapter, which i found to be more than enough.

they could have done some better marketing in calling it working as intended instead of "we arent able to code a save function".

I agree because I like to play at the highest difficulty level and on Hardcore Mode, (which means No save function only checkpoints) but I also still prefer having the option to choose in the beginning of the run, just in case. It's a psychological crutch thing.
