To the developers
To put it bluntly. I wouldn't mind if you guys would put a little more time into this games campaigns. People paid money for this game and have to rely on want-to-be game "designers" to build extra quest. This is fun but should not be the only way to get new content. You guys made the game put some effort and pride into your work.

Do you have any actual suggestions, or...?

What a rude a$$hole way to address the devs.

They've already made two campaigns for the game, you want more already? It takes time to make you know. The campaign that comes with the main game is fine enough. But the new campaign is said to be much better. What you're asking for seems to be things they already do.

Troll laying bait. Ignore him.

This is how cancer spreads, though! Still, you're right. I just can't help it. :]

Here's a tip for the trolls out there: Using facts will draw more people to debate whatever the hell point you're trying to make. Measurable data is where you're going to find the heart of a nerd-- which is what most CRPG fans really are. We don't have regular emotions, so you'd be better off either trolling somewhere else (maybe something artsy) or using real hard data and debating it. Put some more effort and pride into your trolling.

Cheers gents.

If they could use facts, why would it still be considered trolling? The two seem mutually exclusive to me.

I think they could troll much harder with facts-- particularly facts left open to interpretation. For example, when twisting statistics to favor an abstract argument. Prime trolling.

Lebron James averages more assists and rebounds per game than Michael Jordan, which shows that he's a better overall basketball player.

Michael Jordan was the scoring leader of the NBA 10 times throughout his career, while Lebron has only been the scoring leader once, which shows that Jordan is a better basketball player.

Lies, damned lies, statistics. Just my .02. Cheers man!

Haha, man, that's a dangerous road you took there. It's like having a nigerian scammer spam your inbox, you pointing out you know he's a scammer, then you teaching him to scam better so he won't get caught. ;P

Granted, most scammers and trolls aren't smart enough to take the advice anyway but still. No advantage to it is there?

That's funny you mention it-- I've been a 2600 reader for years, and that's *almost exactly* what one of the articles was in the last issue. I'll call it a win if the trolls start using actual debate tactics, regardless-- but yeah I definitely see your point as well. :)

(The 2600 article was a thorough critique, by the recipient--- of a spear-phishing attempt by someone pretending to be the IRS. Great stuff.)
