Fantastic game
Just wanted to give a shout out to the devs for creating this awesome game. I've always been interested in getting to know the Shadowrun tabletop game and ,after finishing this game, I can say I will definitely start to look for people interested in playing with me. I already got the quick start rules from free RPG day and found some modules and other goodies while thrifting.

Anyway long story short, I absolutely loved Shadowrun Returns and will be getting the DLC shortly! Thanks a lot!

Just bought it +dlc on GOG dirt cheap. I wasn't expecting much, so I was a little blown away by how good this game is.

Wish I got the DLC while it was on sale. I got the base game on sale and am now kicking myself after hearing the DLC improved on that.

same mojokex, playing thru it slowly, but loving the story, actually feel invested in it which for a computer game of modern times is unusual. its normally all about the "fights" - loving it, just wish i got that dlc heh

Though Dead Man's Switch has its defaults, I think Bioware should take lessons from games such as Shadowrun Returns.

I completely agree. I havent known shadowrun before, but i enjoy this game a lot, like the story, the world and the character developement and will definitely buy any future content you devs will release

Like after a good novel, I was sad to finish this game.
Sad to say goodbye to the characters, the universe, etc.

I have not felt like that for a game for a LONG time.

u have both set my mind, im diving in - agree so much with both, especially the comment re a good novel - i cant really understand how there have been comments re "too much dialogue" which frankly is what makes the game actually different and enjoyable, perhaps only to people that read etc, without being pompous

Yes, the story of the original game is great (and i heard that the DLC is even better :) ), cant stop playing because its so exciting and im so curious what i might still discover and how the story evolves!
I found, for example, Baldurs Gate too dialogue-heavy, but Shadow Run is a perfect mix of action and story, imo :)

well have to say that i loved the original baldurs gate "back in the day" - i think that was my first PC based RPG after hanging onto my amiga for way too long after it had effectively died as a gaming platform. i find shadow run to be similar but well, prob more story actually.

do want the dlc as well. i did a very silly thing and just bought the standalone in the sale - have heard the dlc is awesome
