[Mod] Teleglitch Extended
This mod adds a lot of new content into the game. Those include new items, some different sounds, renames/descriptions and edited item stats. The crafting list has been greatly increased with the ability to craft ammo, turn items into other tools or recycle them for materials and weapons mods. It does make the game easier but you can also end up with no resources for more important devices.

An important gameplay feature I should mention is that secret rooms can no longer be easily accessed by just firing at the weak walls. Weak walls are more resistant and the most easy way to break them is by using explosives, HV weapons and similar end game weaponry.

It also adds more content for those who pre-ordered the game or bought the DLC. The starting gear has been modified, added more starting options and edited item stats.

Just updated this mod. The changes are:

-Different sprites for the scattermod, automod, vcells box and scavtool.
-Scattermods and automods can be turned into spare parts by activating them.
-Made new changes to all weapon stats. Mostly fire rates and clip sizes.
-Changed some crafting recipes. Mostly weapon crafting recipes.


Edit: Just updated the link with a quick fix of a bug I found:

-Fixed a typo in the Level 3b file that caused a crash.

New updated for this mod:

-Changed some of the weapon sprites and added some new ones.
-Added new player weapon holding and firing animations for the new weapons.
-New reload sound for the hechiza shotgun.
-Fixed some minor issues with the crafting recipes and added a couple more.
-It's possible to stack up to 2 VCells Box now.

I have made some new story bits for the content I have been adding but for some reason, they won't show up in the game. Don't know what could be wrong with that since they work with no problem in the vanilla Teleglitch.

I was going to add more stuff to this mod... but adding more content to the game makes the Item Info List bugged. Reinstalling the game should fix it but since the game stores data online, the bug stays so I don't think I'll be adding new items now.

Guess I should move to enemies or new map modules for now. :(

New items work fine for me. I have had the item info list bugged when I messed up the crafting recipes, but that was back before the DME was released and I haven't tried since. Try checking if any of your crafting recipes contains an item that doesn't exist. It can happen due to a typo or if you delete or rename an existing item.

The only bad thing about adding new items is that the game resets the information in the item info screen when it detects an added item. It's unfortunate, but until modding support arrives (if it wil at all), there's no way to avoid it.

@Commander Keen: I'll give the files a look but I'm pretty sure the item list in the steam version of this game doesn't reset. I had this issue in the vanilla Teleglitch but reinstalling the game fixed it. I am thinking the issue stays in this version coz steam saves the information online...

@mrkadoodle: I actually have a version of this mod with a randomised starting gear of my own but I don't think I can release something with a feature that is supposed to be in the pre-order content. One of the new random starting weapons in that version is something called Outlaws = Akimbo revolvers. :P

I want someone to get revenge on paradox to do something like that with a game.

http://steamcommunity.com/app/234390/discussions/0/864974396511003277 - You can do that to reset your progress in the game, tested it and it works. Maybe that will fix your problem? If it doesn't then the mod is definitely broken.

I just found what was causing the list to be stuck... It was a capital letter in one of the "ingredients" in the crafting section of the weapons file. Took me a while to spot that... Never thought such a small thing could be the problem.

New update uploaded. It includes:

-Broken item list in the Info section is now fixed.
-Dismantling the Motor now yields two Volt Cells less.
-One of the crafting recipes for the GL-Cluster doesn't need as much materials.
-Shotgun Ammo now comes in 12 shells instead of 10.
-Levels 2 and 2b can now be unlocked when reaching Levels 4 or 4b.

Hard as in general game difficulty? I could use some fedback.

I added a couple of new unlockable lvls... but I've been thinking about adding most of them but the secret ones as unlockables lvls.

Been trying to mod the save and load system. I tried making it so that when you load a game, the save is not deleted, but I can't seem to affect it no matter how I mess with the files.
