But in all seriousness, not a terrible idea. Keep in mind, however, two people made this game. One coder, one artist. Multiplayer in any form is way out of their league.
If there will be multiplayer, it will be splitscreen or players sharing the same screen. I think there is a lack of splitscreen games for PC, especially as the most entertaining gaming sessions I've had were with splitscreen action games.
It's totally undecided, and will not be decided in the near future, though.
Spec ops: the line is a good example of what happens when you tack rushed multiplayer onto a fantastic singleplayer experience, you should buy this, it's great.
I completely agree that demanding multiplayer for all games is pretty silly, there is such a thing as settling for a good single player game, this one for example.
