Is getting the DLC an unfair advantage?
Will I get unfair advantage - too easy game - if I get the DLC?

I read that I get weapons, are they too powerfull?

It's not an unfair advantage, they're random. You might even get a good weapon when you start. You could get garbage.

Thanks. I have just bought both the game and the DLC.

Actually few of them are better than regular versions, and even that is arguable. They were designed to give extra challenge.

The Fat John is an incredibly accurate shotgun with slightly better penetration, but with 2 round magazine instead of 10, 20 other shotguns have.

The Silver Spoon deals 26 damage per round instead of 20 (all other assault rifles), while having perfect accuracy, but has a tiny magazine and fires so slowly it's more like a pistol which uses mg ammo.

The Gryphon is a 5-shot revolver with better accuracy, but it suffers from the same problem as other revolvers - very rare ammo.

The rest are either strictly inferior (deal lower damage than other weapons using the same ammo), or run out very soon leaving you stuck with knifing enemies for a long time, or both.

Besides, RSG (Random Starting Gear) weapons make the game crash once you reach level5 (at least here on Linux - Debian Linux is not officially supported).

The only good starting gears are maybe the silver spoon, 6 pieces of dynamite (little less powerful than rdx250 i think) and powerlegs. The others are very meh.
