Black screen on startup
I just bought the game today from humble bundle store.I tried to open the game and I got black screen-ed thingy.I don't hear anything nor see something.I spent 15 minutes staring at the monitor watching a fancy black screen.

My system requirements:
-AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2.8 GHZ
-ATI Radeon X1550
-DirectX 9
-2GB of RAM

I tried to:
-run the game in window mode
-verify game cache
-disable display scaling on high DPI settings

I bought this game because I thought I can run it but no, sadly I can not.Just tell me if you need any additional information but please I'm begging you optimize the game a bit more , I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one having this problem.

I tried the 9.1 version today and got a new error.I thought this might help:

Did you verify the game cache after changing versions?
Does 8.8 show the blue screen, black screen or does it just crash?

Verified game cache and said All files verified so I tried to play the game.It only showed a black screen nothing more.The black screen stays there forever until I close the process using task manager.

It seems that with the 8.8 version I don't get a black screen nor a blue screen.The game just does not show anything at all ( I only see my background ) and if I try to click or something the game is not responding.

Nope. The only leads I had turned out to be useless.
Anyway, can you post a stderr.txt file from the demo?

Having this issue as well.
Have a Radeon 4800HD gpu

Receiving this error:

Anyway, can you post a stderr.txt file from the demo?
