Work around: error code 53

Right click on "Quake II" in the Library, choose "Properties" , in the "General tab" click on the button "Set Launch Options...", and enter "+set game rogue" (without the quotes), then start Quake II. To return to the original Quake II, just remove "+set game rogue" from "Set Launch Options...".

i enter the rogue ,but the starting is still the quake 2 instead the rogue,so how do i start the right way to therogue
