Killing that F'&%£$#G little dog! (The Doll)

If anyone is stuck on the quest called 'the doll', this is how I did it. Get the speed potion recipe, make a speed potion, take it BEFORE you go in the door, then run for your life, you should be able to 1 hit the dog. This quest is worth doing as the reward is great!!

Or use the Regenerate Potion (forgot name) and kill the dog.

I feel like this quest managed to really captured the sheer emotion of having a bark-happy dog in your neighborhood. I was really touched by how this game managed to portray this real world issue and encapsulate my feelings towards them.

I'd say bark happy dogs in general. Size doesn't matter, they're all annoying.

I seem to remember hearing there was a trick to that quest. I haven't done a second playthrough just yet to confirm, but I do intend on trying something silly like muting the volume. It's just the kind of thing that might just work. =p

Use a regeneration potion before you go in the room. That way the dog takes up 4 hits rather than 8. Pretty easy after that.

No need for potions or haste scrolls. You can wear a spear, jump to the platform left to the dog, then jump towards it and attack. It's in the spear's attack range. REMEMBER, don't use ladders, you can jump all the way to that platform, it's much faster.

Yeah its easy.. use the regen and 2 or 3 hp potions.. there is a ladder to the far right in the dark area that will help yuou get accroos to the dog... I died a few times before I noticed it..

The other day I discovered the easiest way to take him out. When you've made it up the first couple of ladders and you are facing the dog, although you can't shoot him with a bow and you can not jump that distance, you can take your trusty dagger, make a jump close enough to him, and you'll be able to reach and stab him! Maybe it's an exploit, but it is a really easy challenge if you use your potions like a simple regeneration one. I personally love the challenge to see if I can run the entire distance without help and get him before I die.

Just tank or heal all the damage this shouldn't be hard if you have healing or regen potions. Then you could just run to that little mutt and punch it (it's one hit with any melee weapon).
