Question about preserving my multilpayer character
IN about 1-2 weeks my new GPU is arriving and I will format my C when I´ll install it.

I´m aware that formating the computer will wipe most if not all Steam saves, and this is OK.

However, I would not like to lose my multiplayer character, as I spent over 100 hours on him.

Anyone could tell me a way to preserve him for when I re-install Unepic?

Thanks in advance. Appreciated.

Use the Steam Cloud save. It will enable you to transfer characters between wipes. You should be able to keep many of your game saves not just your Unepic saves.

You could also go to your save folder and transfer the saves of any games you like to a USB drive.

Teach me how to use the Steam Cloud with Unepic. That was the first thing I thought of, but couldn´t do it.

The multilayer character isn´t stored in the same folder as your main save. In fact, I tried to find it but couldn´t.

Huh?
Getting a new GPU might requires a new or updated driver but never the format of your system.

Perhaps I was not clear: My PC is overdue for formatting anyway, but I decided to wait until the new GPU arrives so I an do both at the same time.

Well there might be people who like to spend several days to reinstall a system but since WinXP the only time a format is needed is the initial install. Past that it's only updates and a bit of maintenance. Even in case Windows managed to screw itself up hardly more than a repair install is needed.
