Can't assign people to the research bench at all.

Anytime I select a person and use shift right click, it says they're assigned but the bench says there are 0/1 workers and it won't let me do research anything.

Do you have the power needed to run it? All but the lowest level version requires power to function as I recall.

I only have the first research bench right now. I'm not able to upgrade or anything because it won't let me research anything. >.<

Any mods? I've heard of at least one case where a mod was preventing research from taking place.

I'm using the 256 Recruitment Limit Mod, Faction Caravans mod, Populated Cities mod, Interior (and Exterior) Design mod, and the Guardpost mod.

Never heard of it happening with any of those, so that's out. Could you take a screenshot with the bench selected? Perhaps I'll be able to see what's wrong from that.

Just to be sure, you did put research books in the research bench and queue what you wanted to research, yes?

I have books in the bench, still not even able to queue anything, everything in the bench is red. Like the Item Storage and Public Sales. Gonna try wiping and doing a fresh game and see if that works.

Got it to work finally. I just had to destroy the bench and remake it.
