I want to go out of my way and say this game has been drastically improved.
The steam store video does it little justice to what you will experience, infact it's vastly better.

My only warning is if you think you'll give it a try within the refund period( 2 hours) you will not enjoy it to the full extent.
I takes atleast 2 hours to get fluent with the menus controls and extensive possiblites,Yes it is that big of a game.
It looks like a sandbox but feels like a epic journey.

If you want to hear my latest lmao moment, I had broken both my arms battling a giant spider.
I tried to take refuge in a ancient library,With both arms broken I was running very fast (high athletics from carrying excess weight) around this building with my arms blowing in the wind like a muppet running for it's life( broken limbs are ragdoll, hiliarity ensued).Finally I got in from briefly picking the locks and slamming the door on the spider, Only to discover valuable treasure maps.
I sold some of the maps for some food money and saved a couple for my own gain.

There is always something to do in this game. You will never find a moment there isn't something to do whether it's something smart like planning for bad weather, raiders or wild raptors. Or something fun, risky or crazy like taking on a slave encampment, getting captured while liberating slaves; To believing you could escape, get captured again kill the guards, become the slave master of said camp, then complain how hard it is to mine stone because you're just delusional and actually been beat on the head too many times because you never escaped and you're still a slave.

This is a game youhave to just experience and trying to cram it into a refund window is going to ruin it. Even if you lack an imagination in the slightest you will still have fun in this game, because even without a story( there is lore) things will come to you like traders, raiders and wildlife. you can work around it or against it, or with it by building a traders house.

I must be easily pleased as I can sink hours into the game watching my squads work, nothing else, just watching them lol.
I also love sitting in the fog killing fogmen over & over for hours or visit some other area i.e. where the screamers are & sit there killing for hours too. Anywhere that has a lot of mobs spawn keeps me occupied & happy for ages ;o)

if i remember correctly it was only supposed to be a thing if an arm or leg got to -200 which would be rather difficult without modifying the slider settings, or if you were unlucky to have that limb hit many times before going unconcious (although if an animal were to nibble on it while you were knocked out...)

not sure if the devs are still planning to ever add amputation or not, but i feel like i remember there being a loading screen about it when i started playing over a year ago

would say the game take awhile for each update but all add satifying patches and always looks into improve the overall gameplay ;)
