[Not Solved] Game Freezes
So I just bought the game a few days ago and wanted to play, but it has been really hard because the game keeps freezing. The problem is strange though, in that it only happens when I do a certain hand movement. First, I use the left mouse button to move the hand down, but then if I move any of the fingers (awer space) while still holding down the left mouse button, the game completely freezes until I release all of the keys I had down. My game runs perfectly normal under the best settings and the worst settings, without any lag, but the problem is the same in both. My computer seems to have very good capabilities, most games I have run with no lag whatsoever. I have also tried other motions, like holding down the (awer space) keys without any mouse buttons, or the right one, but the game doesn't freeze. I'm really not sure what would cause this, I've read all the FAQs and other peoples' problems. Here are my specs, if you need them:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130708-1532)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
System Model: Inspiron 560
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E6700 @ 3.20GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 4094MB RAM
Page File: 3200MB used, 4987MB available
Windows Dir: C:\Windows
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

And my graphics card dxdiag stuff:

Card name: AMD Radeon HD 6670
Manufacturer: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
Chip type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x6758)
DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_6758&SUBSYS_03EA1043&REV_00
Display Memory: 2806 MB
Dedicated Memory: 1014 MB
Shared Memory: 1791 MB
Current Mode: 1600 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor Name: Generic PnP Monitor

Now also, when I say freeze, I mean that the entire game just stops where it's at. When it unfreezes, the clock is still right where it was when it froze. I can't say I'm 100% sure what causes this, because it doesn't seem to freeze every single time, just usually. It's very confusing. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT (This is just from my post below): Yeah I checked with the keys with other games, as well as background programs. Nothing came up. I usually check that kind of thing before posting stuff. The likelyhodd of the freezing seems to increase the longer I move my hand down before pressing the finger keys, even though it happens like 90% of the time. Also, the more finger keys I press down at the same time, compared to moving the fingers / gripping with them ONE AT A TIME seems to make it freeze more often too. When I say these things though, it still has frozen when I held down just one finger and ddone it like right away. These things just make it happen more often.
Important! I'm not sure if the way I said it clarified this: The game does not freeze until after the finger(s) goes to its key-held-down position.

Do you hear any Windows ("ding") sounds when the freezes happen? Is any program running in background which may be using some key shortcuts interfering with the game (for example ATI/AMD Catalyst Control Center)? Did you try pressing all the same keys simultaneously in other games to check if they freeze, too?

No need to be sorry. The more information is provided describing the problem, the better.

Also, I have a really bad habit of saying sorry for everything.

Added that info to the post if it helps anyone... I've been looking at it but still can't figure out how to get the game to stop freezing up. Even just suggestions would help. Thanks :)

Thats an odd issue, to be sure. You said you've read the FAQ etc, so have you checked all the 'usual suspects'? (i.e verifying the game cache, redownloading the latest video drivers from AMD directly and reinstalling them, etc)
Even if you don't have issues in other games, sometimes you can have strange things occur in just one game, and it turns out to be a system problem somewhere.
That may not be your issue of course, but if you haven't taken those steps yet, give them a whirl and let us know.

Thanks, but yes, I did try the "usual suspects..." It seems to be happening a bit more frequently at the moment but that may just be because I've had my computer on for a while. Are there any graphics settings outside of the program that might help? I don't really know much about graphics cards but I know you mentioned the video driver thing.

It might be worth resetting all your graphics settings, it case something has become corrupt (it's a long shot, but it's worth a try). You can do this when you reinstall your graphics card drivers, there should be an option or checkbox (sorry, I'm not familiar with the specifics of AMD) which says 'clean install'. This will install clean drivers and wipe any graphics profiles (it won't harm your computer or remove anything important). If Dell offers graphics drivers updates, get the ones from AMD instead.

Also, is your keyboard wireless? Dell does have drivers and a host of other updates on their website. It might be worth getting all the updates for your computer from Dell, if you haven't done so already. (Except the bios or firmware updates. Don't get those unless you are sure how to use them).

Well, just got back on trying to get it to work, kind of forgot about this for a while
I swear I did nothing but... it works perfectly now
Thanks for all the help! I must have done something from here that triggered it but I can't figure out why it took until now... I don't even know. Thanks!
