PROBLEMS WITH DLC?

Heya!

We've noticed that some people are having problems installing the DLC. Boo, hiss! Let's pause for a moment so you can throw rotten fruit and broken refrigerator parts at us.

*pause*

OK, now that's out of the way, know that we're working on a fix right now. Even though it's the weekend, and it's sunny.

PC users - some of you may benefit from this gem of advice:

"In your game library, right click Surgeon Simulator and in the list, click "view downloaded content" a box will pop up, check the box for the new DLC and it will download and install it."

On Mac and Linux, this may not work. Don't worry though, we anticipate that this will be fixed in a couple of days. That's not ideal, we know you want to play it now, and we're sorry.

If you find any other bugs, please let our friendly QA tester, Matt, know on [e-mail]. Please include your computer specs too. There's another sticky thread in this forum that tells you exactly what info we need. Send screenshots and crashlogs too. And pictures of your pets, to help us through this difficult time.

My only problem is that the vr beta doesn't work anymore. Missing my hydras :(

Loving the new content and checking the box did indeed work for me!

Any confirmation that the alien operations and the achievement for only removing the rotten teeth are broken? They seem to be impossible for me.

Another Hydra/Rift user who's disappointed to see the lack of Hydra support for the DLC. There is, in fact, an entire thread going crazy about it on the forums.

Any plans to fix that, or is this the death knell for Hydra support?

Bossa Studios is really into vr so I think they do plan on bringing it back even if it does take awhile.

That fixed it for me. All rotten fruit has been placed in the garbage where it belongs.

Still no good for me -- select "install" and the state column still reads "not installed".

I noticed however that I do have an update available for Surgeon Simulator -- put it won't update. It just stays in the queue.
