How to play scout efficiently?
Everytime there's a skillcheck I fail. Especially frustrating that it seems it generates 3x that much data computers than in my engineer runs and 90% of attempts fail. She's not that great of a fighter too... any tips on the scout class?

Also how would you recommend getting recipes without using spoilers other than engineer runs?

Tried the scout recently, she's very good with her auto pistol. While obviously the engineer is better at deciphering, the autopistol is a huge upgrade from the pistol(almost double the firepower, with a quick reload). The engineer gets into serious trouble later if he doesn't upgrade from the pistol. Grenades are also much easier to use with the scout.

yeah, ran her on normal just to faceroll and take a break from hard, ended up carrying ton of weapons but out of like 15 computers I managed to only get recipe for ducttape armor before dying xD

Scout died on normal level 13. Took an unnecessary chance with a shootout against a light security bot mk III, when I had a few medkits available. I'm playing the engineer again currently.

Yeah, I've just kind of resolved to not bother with anyone but engineer until I've decoded everything. After that, computers are mostly just a possible electronics point for stasis fridges and a decipher point for augmentation bays.
