Shouldn't charging hubs recharge energy based weapons?

I mean that would make sense, right? Energy weapons use energy cells as ammo, same way as, for example, digital assistant use energy cell to recharge.

Probably. Or maybe not in terms of balance. And thats difficult to figure out as the games that tend to occur differ everytime. On a bad run Id say yeah. On a good run Id say no.

But your point is a good one. If two items use the same energy to work from then it goes without saying that those charging hubs would be the same. But I guess someone with better lore knowledge would better answer your question.
