As someone who hasn't played the game yet... do I "need" the Pilgrim DLC? Thanks.

My view is I would play the game and see how you like it. If you have picked up the gold edition then you already have lots of different characters to choose from.

I didn't ask for it but I bought it and I like it. I don't normally touch DLC as I prefer 'real' expansions (e.g Gold or how it was back in the day) but the game was a gift so I was happy to get it even though the developers are arse holes for making such a hard, and at times, an unfair game... but it is fun :)

Is the achievements going to be fully adjusted so far i just see "finish easy" only for the Pilgrim.

They're all there - if you'd met the conditions, you should have gotten the achievement. What it was is that they were all hidden, so as to not give away the new character, but only the easy one was made un-hidden with release. Apologies for the confusion.

The thing about roguelikes is if you fall for one you'll play it like 300 hours. So test with one pack, but if you love it the other ones are worthy add ons.

legend. i have to say you guys did a great job.....i know its hard game...but soooooo rewarding....oldschool and still growing.

will there be a party based option? perhaps 2 to 4 type mode?
