+1 As OSX, iOS and Android ports are already done, I would guess Linux wouldn't be too difficult and I would love to add this game to my library.

Ryan "icculus" Gordon is trying to reach Eric Chahi (the game's creator) about making this happen.

A Linux version will be wonderful!!

Another World for Android is now in "The Humble Mobile Bundle"[www.humblebundle.com], maybe the Linux version will appear in the next "Humble Indie Bundle"...

Off to get that bundle right now. Played this game using the keyboard to navigate back when it came out. Only gaming computer I own now runs Linux but if I can play it on my Android phone until there's a Linux port, I'm there.

Don't be too discouraged (that said, don't be too encouraged either). If Ryan (or anybody else) were in talk with Eric and/or DotEmu, I doubt they'd be posting about it until it was ready.

Would be a cool additon to Linux Steam! That being said, I'd think the original windows anniversary edition could run in Wine, Virtualbox, or UAE running the original (I haven't tested AW in these, hm at least not that I rememer atm), but it's kinda more cumbersome.
