Wake
The blur ruins the game.
I feel locked out of my purchase as I'm unable to enjoy it thanks to this silly blur they added for some reason (even with post processing off).
Despite the low price, avoid this if you have any problems with blurry games.

Go to steamapps/common/Wake, open the settings file, and set Graphics=0. Why the option to turn off the horrendous CPU-eating blur was buried in a settings file rather than on the menu I'll never know, but it works.

It should be noted a certain amount of the blur appears to be antialiasing necessary to the ship tilting left and right, which is an actual gameplay mechanic that dramatically affects your running and jumping and can't be simply done away with. So it's not a total fix, but it at least reduces the blurring to something that isn't painful to look at.

All the Graphics=0 seems to do is lower the resolution, and even then the image is not even close to clear. I wanted to like and actually be able to play this game as it has potential but sadly I would have had more fun throwing the money out of my window as I can't play this as it is. Sigh...
Yeah like I said, to an extent the blur is kind of necessary for the tilting (which again, isn't cosmetic, but actually affects your controls quite a bit), but they overdid it.

You can disable the Post Processing effects. They're not buried, they're on the options screen :)
Unless you mean the low-res scaling, if it's too blurred go into your video card settings and see if you have a filtering option enabled.
This blur hurt my eyes. It's unplayable. With post processing off.
Everything is still blurred and a pain to the eyes.
Menu is barely readable srsly wtf.
All in all it's so counter intuitive...
It randomly gets dark so I can't see a thing. To get lighter for randomly again.
I can swim freely but just below the surface I get stuck forever and cant get out of it.
Randomly I can get out of the water.
I have the same issues. It seems that the window size is correct when the game is in windowed mode, but the resolution INSIDE the window is way too low. Also, the game is painfully slow, and my computer runs games that should be way heavier smoothly as butter... I feel I wasted money on this game. :C
I have this problem as well. This game has a lot of potential, but it fails miserably.

* Visuals are very blurry even with post processing effects turned off.

* Game only supports 2 screen resolutions and 2 fullscreen modes, none of which improve the visuals at all.

* You cannot pause the game.

* You cannot access options in-game. Instead you have to quit out and completely relaunch the game.

All in all, this game is very low quality and feels like it was made by someone who has never played a video game in their life. I can't understand why anyone would want to release their game in such a pitiful state...
Indeed, I can barely even make out the text in the menu because of the blur.
Jesus christ!, what a load of bull is this ?...
I agree with everything youy guys say, the blur totally ruins the game. Did they not playtest it. Surely the testers must have pointed this out!
