Issues and Questions
1: How do I rotate objects?, the recent update changed how I rotate objects

2: Ambient sounds are a pain, they are lound and get in the way, is there an option to remove them?

3: WHY IS THERE NO INFINITE MONEY MODE??, I mean seriously why do I have to go into the game files and change the money (and it doesn't work)

4: I bought the regular version of the game, but now I want the Names in the game version, do I have to rebuy the game?

I give the game a 7.8/10

1. Middle scroll wheel button

2. if only.

3. Alpha. Also they have changed the way the code works on money so a player can have over a million. I normally place an item, locate the line in the code, add a few zeros, reload.

4 ????

7.8/10 for an ALPHA? Quit trolling.

Dixie covered the questions fairly well.

4. Go to....oh bugger, here's the link to get started, was too hard to explain http://support.introversion.co.uk/customer/portal/articles/1053141-i-bought-on-steam-how-do-i-get-to-the-forums-

follow what it says, if you get to the point where you need to click on the activation link, just drop them an email telling them you haven't got the email. (happened to me, so throwing that out there)

That will give you access to the dev forums, wiki and bug tracker, all very helpful resources for any issue.

To directly answer #4: Just find their "email us" link on the side and tell them you bought on steam and would like to upgrade to name in game, they'll give you instructions on how to do that. Probably need to be registered first (hence the aformentioned information).

7.8/10 is a good score, and it's not perfect and it's missing somethings (that should be in alpha i.e debug mode, infinite money mode, etc.)

3. Thanks to the ability to sell your prison (introduced with the last patch) you can start with a lot of money after you made some longer lasting prisons before ... no infinite money, but it allows you to start with half a million $ or more

For some reason, since i bought the game the textures go away for a bit then come back. You can see right through prisoners!

Ooh, a list! That makes it easier for me to answer succinctly to each point!

1. As far as I can tell, it's still the R key, but then again, I'm using the Mac version. Even with that in mind, though it doesn't seem much different to me.

2. No, but you can still turn your speaker volume down or, if you still want to hear the non-ambient audio cues, zoom further out from your prison so that the ambient sounds are quieter.

3. Because that defeats the point of finding the best way to make a financially-sustainable prison. This isn't like, say, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 where a massive number of things can be experimented with designing, like rollercoasters. Prison Architect is based purely on layout design, so while there is room for experimentation, it isn't to the same extent as most other games with an infinite money mode. By the way, yes, editing the game file DOES work. You're obviously doing something wrong if you think it doesn't.

4. This topic has been answered multiple times in other threads, which is why most moderators suggest using the search function to see if anyone else is having similar issues to you.

Also, giving a score to a game in Alpha is a bad idea - after all, the game isn't finished yet, so things can, will, and indeed have radically changed over time.
