Why is a section of my prison flashing yellow in deploy screen
I recently built a new section of my prison on the other side of the road (expanded the map)for my max sec guys. When i go in to section it off as max only, the entire thing is flahing yellow, though i can still make it max only. Can anyone tell me what it means, as it is not doing it to my other section. Also, the entire thing is indoors, one massive facility, may have something to do with it.

Right side of the road is buggy. While the devs haven't highlighted anything on the right side of the road except for cutting down trees, there's been no word on whether or not they fixed any mechanics on the right side.

The flashing yellow means that the area (or the whole prison area) is having navigational issues. Could be that it's not accessible or you've somehow broken the A.I pathing.

I suggest you double check the layout and check to see if walling or locking doors sovles or creates more issues. In A16, I managed to break the pathing because I had the new security gate (entrance/incoming) the wrong way round I think. You might want to check that as well.

It could mean that the area is not secure, try fencing around the perimiter of the building and map. I had this for a while because I had a small gap in my perimiter fence and the doors were unlocked.
Including a screenshot would also help diagnose the problem.

Main door of that building is open permanently, that's what it warns you. Set t to normal and it will be good. Any building with an open door to the road will get that yellow warning as in "your prisoners will escape as soon as they see the door open".

It either means an area is set to Unlocked in Deployment, or it's unsecured and has direct access to the outside world (i.e. free access to escape).

It means it's not secure. You probably have a door or something yet to "unlocked" or it's not secured with walls/fences.
