Multiple kitchens still not working.
I have 3 kitchens and 6 cooks, and all the kitchens are a fair bit appart (50m or so) and occasionally I see all 6 in one kitchen, or one running to wash some dishes in a kitchen across the prison, and many other situations like that.

All in all, the AI of the other staff/prisoners work, but not the cooks. Maybe you could assign cooks like how you assign prisoners, and it would solve the issue?

try to put only one big kitchen/canteen in the middle of the map intill this bug is fixed. also 3 kitchens and only 6 cooks is way to many. i would say put up to four cooks in one kitchen. also if there is lots of activitys and pathfinding going on the npcs tend to freak out.

I more or less wanted to test being able to make seperate wings for my prison, so 2 cooks/kitchen seems right for a sustainable wing.

are the kitchens zoned differently? that might help segregate things

They're far from each other, roughly 30m from each other.

I wish you could assign cooks, gardeners, janitors to certain areas/rooms.

That would be the optimal solution for cooks at the very least.

I have 2 kitchens, medium threat and a low threat. It takes 5 cooks to keep both of them going because they run back and forth. I bet if I added a 3rd kitchen I would have to hire 8 cooks.

I have two kitchens with 35 cooks total to feed 207 prisoners, and I am never short on meals, but do see them running back and forth some times but they are only like 10 blocks from eachother but for medium and low security wings.
