I need help.

I have a problem with one of the grants. It says for me to "Produce ten Superior Beds" but, I cannot. Some of my prisinors have been trained, I have incoming wood just, I'm not getting the beds out of it. Adding to this, when I try to dismantle machinery from the Workshop, it does not go to storage or when I try to place it again, my workers simply won't. It would be very helpful if someone came along and told me what's wrong here, in my prison.

Not to call you an idiot but do you have carpentry tables, qualified prisoners still in prison not paroled or done time.

I found min secs best at completing course but they normally leave prison before can start beds

Well, I'm pretty sure earlier I did have trained prisinors but they only made logs into wood, not full beds.

Do you have carpentry tables? They will make planks from logs with a saw, but they need carpentry tables to make beds.

I have carpentry tables. It only makes wood though :/

If you have the tables, beds take a while to complete, and sometimes you don't even notice. Let it go for a while, check that the grant % is changing.



If that doesn't work, show a screenshot of your prison with the workshop area clearly visible. Maybe there's something wrong that you're missing.

Oh, and the dismantaling promblem, anything for that?

tables don't make wood, saws turn logs into wood. The wood is then placed on a seperate peice of equiptment (carpentry tables) to be made into beds. there are 2 differnt programs (workshop saftey to run saw and presses and carpentry to make beds) that willneeded completed before beds can be made.

this is what you need:
Saw Table
Carpentry Table
Logs-Forestry
Table
Workshop

You also need:
Prisoners assigned to Workshop
Prisoners qualified to work though basic training
Prisoners to be trained (who have already been trained basically) in carpentry
make sure they are going to the workshop to work

If you end up making beds but the grant isnt completed then you have a mod conflict

If your making beds but percent not going up, remove exports till you get ten, im sure this bug was fixed though.
I think your prisoners that were qualofied have been released

This worked for me now I just cant train the workers to make them.

But, what about that dismatling and reassembling problem? I dismantle it and I just can't put it back together. This only happened with workshop machines.

I have now got the Superior beds producing, I did close down the exports and the numbers are going up. Thank you all for your help. :D

Try dumping them and building new ones

I've done that before but, it wastes money. If you don't have alternatives, it's fine.

I am now also doing the Death row but, for some reason I have one person not doing the appeal program. I have a parole room, excecution room, a death row inmate, his own cell and valid times, it just isn't working.
