Will prisoners die handcuffed?
Sometimes the guards glitch and i have to manualy rightclick them to solitary. or if i have not built one yet will they die of starvation? besides bleeding out

They shouldn't die with wrist restraints, I've had some inmates cuffed all night on the yard, before a CO got to him.

They will die of stravation if they're left like that for 5 days... but 1 whole day, you should be fine.
